Philips Lighting and Razer partnered up for a richer gaming experience

Philips Lighting (the world leader in lighting) and Razer (the world’s leading lifestyle brand for gamers) has officially joined forces to create a better gaming environment! Now you will be able to sync your Philips Hue color-capable smart lighting with your Razer Chroma-enabled devices!

Game developers can also create lighting effects that change dynamically during gameplay. While for gamers, you can already enjoy the gorgeous in-game lighting effects on some popular games including Overwatch and Quake Champions.

To enjoy the new light-effects, Philips Hue consumers will need a Philips Hue V2 bridge, Philips Hue color-capable lights and the latest Philips Hue app software update. Razer Chroma users would be easier, you only need to add the Philips Hue functionality via the Razer Synapse 3 software which is now available for free.

Your Razer Chroma-enabled devices including gaming laptops, peripherals and accessories will light up in parallel to the synced Philips Hue lights during gaming (sounds cool!). Even when you are not playing games, you can sync your connected lighting with your gear and select any light setting for the rich lighting experience.
