Ordinal Strata to launch on 9 January 2018

After much deliberation, Fuji Games and Marvelous, will be launching their new mobile RPG Ordinal Strata on 9 January 2018. The pre-registration run will continue right up to 8AM (GMT+9), with the number of sign-ups so far have surpassed the one million mark, which is quite a feat.

Ordinal Strata is a traditional turn-based RPG where you are able to play a total of six job classes including Knights, Warriors and Sorcerers. The game adopts an inheritance system in which players can transfer skills from a job class to another upon changing them. All abilities and skills can be further upgraded.

While there is a single player mode, you are able to participate in the multiplayer mode. Battles can be run on auto, although you can always manually assign skills and abilities for fights that require them.

As for the story, it tells the tale of the God of Time, Restia, who was defeated by a magician named Nero. Her spirit was broken into fragments scattered around the world. Enter Asusena, a witch who plans to resurrect Restia. To do so, she has to travel to different eras to collect the pieces, while pursuing Nero.
