Baten Kaitos I & II HD Remaster Releasing on Switch This Summer

Bandai Namco Entertainment Asia has announced that Baten Kaitos I & II HD Remaster is set to release for the Switch in Summer 2023.

The title combines both Baten Kaitos Eternal Wings and the Lost Ocean with Baten Kaitos Origins into one title for you to play. The remaster will not only come in upgraded graphics but also added features that is sure to make the game easier and enjoyable to play.

The new features coming in the remasters are as follow:

• Six Adjustable Parameters that can be toggled at any time:
  • No encounters: Turn off Random Encounters
  • Instant KO: Enables Enemies to be defeated with a single strike
  • Game Speed: Choose from three options (100％, 200％ and 300％)
  • Battle Speed: Choose from three options (100％, 200％ and 300％)
  • Simple Battle Results Display: Switch to a simpler display of mid-battle results after each turn
  • Auto-Battle: Enable battles to be played automatically
• Autosave Feature
• Help Feature: Check the meanings of key terms and how to play the game from within the system menu.
• New Game+ Mode: Carry across level, rank, and Magnus from the initial run to a new save file
• New Game- Mode: Applies restrictions to the game’s feature for more challenges

Baten Kaitos Eternal Wings and the Lost Ocean centers around Kalas and Xelha on their journey to save the world from ruin and defeat the Alfard Empire. Meanwhile, Baten Kaitos Origins follows new recruit of Alfard Empire, Sagi in his journey uncover the truth of the empire.

Both games are compiled into one title, Baten Kaitos I & II HD Remaster and will be available on Nintendo Switch in Summer 2023.
