Industry veterans Anna Hollinrake and Pavle Mihajlović have just announced Electric Saint– a new game studio venture by the two aiming to make “Heartfelt games”.
Backed by the UK Games Fund and being a part of the London Games Accelerator, the studio’s website launched today declaring that they were working on a presently unannounced game.
“We care about crafting dynamic worlds that are full of light and life, and tell inclusive stories within them. We embrace new technologies and draw from our collective history in emotive-driven game development to achieve lasting, impactful experiences that were formerly only possible for much larger teams”, the statement reads.
In an interview with NME, Hollinrake also added additional context to the kind of game development going on at Electric Saint:
“I want to make weird shit until I die,” she says.
Anna Hollinrake is a BAFTA-winning game developer, best known for her role as an Art Lead on the popular Fall Guys as well as her work on the BBC animated series Love Monster.
She is listed as the Creative Director for Electric Saint.
Pavle Mihajlović is the co-founder of Flavourworks, the studio behind 2019’s Interactive Narrative title Erica, and is now the Technical Director at Electric Saint.\
