Rear Sekai Announced For Nintendo Switch Releasing in 2023

Bushiroad has revealed a brand-new original game set to launch in Japan this year called Rear Sekai.

Rear Sekai will be an action RPG released for the Nintendo Switch. As of present, the game is set to release in Japan this year and no announcement has been made for a global release yet.

The game is planned and produced by Yoshifumi Hashimato and from the teaser trailer, the game features arts from illustrators Shie Nanahara and Minako Iwasaki.

While not much is revealed about the game, Yoshifumi Hashimato is a well-known producer for his work in the Rune Factory series, the game series that combines the elements of a farming game with RPG. In addition, the two illustrators and the company developing Rear Sekai, HAKAMA Co. Ltd, had also worked on the Rune Factory series.

The game could very much go along those lines given the current lineups but since nothing concrete has been announced, it could very well be an entirely new genre.

To recap, Rear Sekai is an upcoming action RPG produced by Yoshifumi Hashimato and published by Bushiroad Games set to release in Japan for Nintendo Switch in 2023.
