Forspoken Releases New Cinematic Trailer, Shows Off Different Enemy Types

Square Enix has released a brand new cinematic trailer featuring the main character – Fray Holland, along with various enemy types in Forspoken.

The one minute cinematic trailer of starts off with two parallel scenes of Fray Holland running away from people chasing her while she was in the real life, and various of monstrous creatures in Athia.

From the cinematic trailer, we’re able to see some glimpses of the different enemy types that will be present in Forspoken. The first that was shown was a monstrous looking moose.

Other monster-like wild animals with similar traits were also shown during this trailer, along with a unique flying enemy type which resembles the depiction of a valkyrie from Norse mythology. Although, there isn’t much information about these monster-like enemies from the trailer aside that they’re hunting Fray down.

For those who are curious about this title, Forspoken follows the journey of Fray Holland, a young New Yorker transported to the beautiful and cruel land of Athia. A magical, sentient bracelet is inexplicably wrapped around her arm, and Frey discovers the ability to cast powerful spells and use magic to traverse the sprawling landscapes of Athia.

In search of a way home, Frey must use her newfound magical abilities to traverse sprawling landscapes and battle monstrous creatures.

Forspoken will be releasing on 25th January 2023 for PlayStation 5 and PC platforms. For more information, do check out the game’s official website here.
