Dragon Quest Treasures Brings Special Monsters Into Fray, Including a Very Familiar Rabbit

Square Enix has revealed more information for Dragon Quest Treasures featuring special monsters that you can recruit in your party.

Two special monsters will be joining your party when you enter in special gift codes in Dragon Quest Treasures, a very special king slime and killing machine.

The King Slime, named Yuji, isn’t simply just the king of the slimes. He is also voiced by Yuji Horii, the very same person that created the Dragon Quest series.

The Killing Machine, dubbed Pekotte, is a special machine designed to look very much like the Hololive VTuber Usada Pekora. Not only can it fly, but it also arms itself with swords and a crossbow and the addition of two different AoE lasers. What’s more, it is voiced by Usada Pekora herself.

Both the gift codes for Yuji and Pekotte will be available via Square Enix Facebook page and Square Enix Asia News Portal, so be on the lookout for it.

The next special monster is on more spoiler territory so be warned.

When you load up the game after you have finished the end credits, both Purrsula and Porcus will have a challenge ready for you.

Complete their challenge and you’ll get the Elysian Dragling, Elys. Elys is a powerful dragling bearing the power of the gods and is already capable of using spells like Kazap and Multiheal upon joining. There is more to what this dragling can offer so be sure to take on the special challenge to get it to join your party.
