Engage Kill is moving along nicely in pre-registrations, with its campaign hitting the 150,000 milestone. Presently, the rewards stop at 200,000, where players will be able to get in-game money, a 10-scout ticket and a 3-star “assist card” item.
This is the mobile game arm of Project Engage, a multi-media IP. Engage Kiss is the anime that has since concluded its season September 2022. The anime has also gotten a manga adaptation that began publication July 2022 via Square Enix’s Manga UP!.
The game is ostensibly a turn-based RPG but with a twist of Quick Time Event-adjacent mechanics where you can perform actions to guarantee a move so long you hit the right prompts. There will also be multiplayer elements where you can take on boss enemies a la raids.
It pretty much is a sequel to the anime, with both returning and new characters joining forces to quell the demons that still plague Bayron City. Chloe herself seems to be afflicted with her own curse, and seeks to be rid of it.
Engage Kill is currently slated for a Spring 2023 release, so there’s still some time to go to join in the pre-registrations for the game. You can check out its official website here.
