Bandai Namco has announced that One Piece Odyssey will be getting a free demo three days before its full launch.
The free demo for One Piece Odyssey will be available on January 10th, 2023 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
They did not specify how far you can progress into the game with the free demo. However, what they did mention is that once you’ve reached the end of the demo, you can have the option to carry over your progress to the full game.
In addition, you’ll also be receiving in-game bonus items that you can use in the full game just by trying out the demo.
Here is brief summary for the plot of game via its official website:
“During their voyage, the Straw Hats, led by Monkey D. Luffy are swallowed by a huge storm at sea. They end up on a mysterious island full of nature amidst the storm and become separated from each other. The crew sets out on a new adventurous journey filled with wonders of a raging nature, powerful enemies, and strange encounters with island locals. Work together with Luffy and his crew to set sail once again!”
One Piece Odyssey is an upcoming RPG game featuring characters from the One Piece franchise releasing on January 13th, 2023 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and PC via Steam.
