[Guide] Nikke: Goddess of Victory – Should you pull Rupee: Winter Shopper

Rupee makes a comeback, this time as Santa Claus who is ready to fulfil everyone’s Christmas wishes in Nikke: Goddess of Victory.

She is an SSR Burst Type 1 Electric Defender using an Assault Rifle with massive steroids to defense buff and an ability to re-enter Burst Skill Stage 1.

RUPEE WINTER SHOPPER KIT

Her first skill is “Winter Premium” and it activates when the last bullet in her magazine hits the enemy, increasing the defence of everyone in your team.

Her second skill is “VIP Gift” and it activates when your teammates use their Burst Skills, giving her the “Shopping” stack that buffs up the defence of everyone in your team.

Shopping can be stacked up to 4 times and when it does, it will also increase the speed of filling the Burst Gauge, giving you the chance to start another Burst much faster.

Her Burst Skill is “Shopaholic Date” that taunts all enemies while also recovering her HP scaling with her attack. She will also buff the reload speed for everyone and re-enters Burst Skill Stage 1.

STRENGTH

She is tanky, to say the least. She can buff the defences for the team to high heaven and all of her skills are easy to activate, especially her “VIP Gift” that will give your team enough survivability while they dish out maximum damage.

She is also the first of the NIKKE that re-enters Burst Skill Stage 1 upon her Burst and that alone brings a lot of different possibilities for you to try out.

WEAKNESS

Her primary weakness is her lack of offensive capabilities. Sure, she can buff up your defences but in stages where you need to kill enemies as fast as possible, you might find the buffs rather redundant.

Her Burst also means your team formation will be restricted with two Burst Type 1 since any less would just make her Burst less efficient.

SHOULD YOU PULL

In terms of tankiness, she is almost on par with Ludmilla where Ludmilla leans towards offense, Rupee is more towards a defensive playstyle.

The way her Burst works really changes how the game is played. Normally it would be Burst 1 > Burst 2 > Burst 3 but with her it will be Burst 1 > Burst 1 > Burst 2 > Burst 3. So, if you want some more excitement and unique gameplay, roll for her.

Rupee Winter Shopper is the first ever limited character in NIKKE so we do not know if she will ever return outside of her featured banner. That should be what you think of when deciding if you want to pull her or not.
