Hololive and NIJISANJI Parent Companies Team Up To Stop Trolls

COVER Corporation and ANYCOLOR Inc, the parent companies of the popular VTuber branches Hololive and NIJISANJI respectively are teaming up to provide countermeasures against slander and defamation of their talents.

Both companies have issued their official statements in regards to their joint cooperation in sharing legal resources as well as information in hopes to stop the growing issue of various individuals unjustly interfering with VTuber activities.

In ANYCOLOR’s official English translated joint statement, the two companies will strive to protect the affiliated talents from acts of defamation and the like by engaging in public awareness campaigns and other strategies the their fans can enjoy from the various contents that the companies have provided.

Moving forward, COVER Corporation and ANYCOLOR Inc will be implementing these countermeasures on top of further cooperation with other companies in accordance with the circumstances and matters at hand to eliminate acts of defamation, even taking legal action related to cases where the affiliated talents of both companies are victimised. Specifically with the respect to acts of defamation, infringement of privacy rights, acts of “trolling”, attacks such as death threats, stalking and the like are coomitted against the Hololive and NIJISANJI talents.

The two companies working together will be taking a step forward towards creating an environment where talents can comfortably engage in their activities without needing to worry about any nefarious issues.
