Ubisoft has announced Far Cry 6 latest expansion “Lost Between Worlds” which adds a new chapter to the game.
The expansion will be available on December 6th, 2022, for purchase and part of the Upgrade Pass on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and PC via Ubisoft Store and Epic Games Store.
Far Cry 6: Lost Between Worlds takes place in a fractured version of Yara. Dani finds themselves transported into twisted space between worlds after following a mysterious meteorite impact site. Upon meeting the non corporeal life form Fai, Dani will need to help repair Fai’s broken spacecraft to escape from the twisted space.
Here is an overview of what you can experience in the new expansion:
- Go through 15 trials called the Rifts where they must defeat the Shardfaces to recover the missing shards to repair the spacecraft.
- Shardfaces: Humanoid and animal crystalline enemies that lurks every corner of the space
- Rifts: Different places with distinct features, from shattered fortresses suspended in the sky to an underwater Esperanza full of deadly traps filled with otherworldly dangers.
- New Powerful Weapons that you can come across in your journey through the space
- Collect enough Energy Fragments scattered around, and you can revive and retry a Rift you failed.
- Freedom to explore multiple branching paths and exploration the space has to offer.
Upon completing the expansion, you will get Fai’s powerful gear that you can bring back to Yara to help with your ongoing battle against the regime.
Far Cry 6 is also releasing a new free update available now which features the following:
- New Game+ mode: Allows player to bring their endgame gear and weapons back to the start of their playthrough
- Completionist Aid: Provides players with guided assistance to uncover Yara’s hidden secret
Far Cry 6 is a first person shooter game by Ubisoft and is the sixth instalment in the Far Cry series available for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and PC via Ubisoft Store and Epic Games Store.
Ubisoft is also currently offering a free trial for the game available now across its available platforms and you can even carry over your progression into the full game should you choose to get it.
