The Finals Week for the Dota 2 Internationals 11 had just concluded with team Tundra Esports lifting up the aegis of immortality by winning in a clinical 3-0 sweep against their opponents – Team Secret.
Tundra Esports consisting of the players – skiter, Nine, 33, Saksa and Sneyking had an overall dominant performances during their time throughout The International even since during the group stages. As one of the leading teams of Group B, they had an impressive 14 wins and 4 losses which secured them a spot in the upper brackets during the playoffs at the Singapore Internationals.
Their dominant streak did not slow down during the playoffs, where they only dropped one game through the entire main stage event. During the Bo5 format (Best of 5) against Team Secret, Tundra Esports had relentlessly and clinically shown their prowess in both terms of drafting and in-game mechanics, showing off a wide-variety of different heroes, even brandishing Medusa in their winning draft, a hero that had not been picked throughout the entire main stage.
The last game had a draft consisting of skiter on Medusa, Nine on Pangolier, 33 on Beastmaster, Saksa on Tiny and Sneyking on Mirana. Tundra Esports had closed out the final game at minute 44:34 with a score of 41 kills against Team Secret’s 22 kills. This win marks 5 brand new TI winners lifting up the aegis, who were all under the helm of a previous TI winner back in TI5 under the banner of Team EG in the face of Aui_2000 as their coach.
