Pokemon Masters EX has recently put up an announcement in regards to recent leaks of their upcoming events.
The announcement reads:
“On September 23, promotional materials originally shared in a private communication channel (where members were bound by a confidentiality agreement) were shared publicly. This led to in-progress materials being widely distributed ahead of our original timeline. As a result, we have terminated our working relationship with the person responsible for this leak.
Please keep in mind that our announcements and updates are planned with an ideal experience in mind, and disruptions to that timeline can compromise the integrity of these plans. We strongly encourage Trainers to experience the game as intended and avoid distributing compromised materials ahead of their intended live date.”
While DeNa has never made any public announcements in regards to the Datamine for Pokemon Masters EX, this announcement is made against the leaks that was spread around even before the datamine for the upcoming events was released.
The difference between a datamine and leaks is that datamines are basically information extracted from the game’s code. Leaks are normally contents that are bound through confidentiality agreements being spread around.
The mentioned leaks for Pokemon Masters EX is most likely the Melony, Gordie and Halloween Sync Pairs that was spread around social media before the datamine for the events are up.
While looking up leaks is what keeps certain people interested in the game to get themselves hyped, you need to remember that these leaked contents are not official contents and are subject to change so they are not 100% guaranteed to be released in the same form from the leaks.
