The previously announced Fire Force mobile game – roughly translated to Flame Dance Chapter – has announced an upcoming closed beta for which fans can apply for. It will be taking place “early October”, limited to 2000 players.
Closed beta applications can be done through the Fire Force game website here, simply asking for your email, age range, platform and gender (besides accepting the privacy policy). The application period will be until 30 September 2022, 13:00 JST.
As for the actual testing period, that will be duly informed to successful applicants. Currently, the recommended specifications are just iOS 13.0 or later, or Android 7.0 or later. Data will be reset at the conclusion of the test, with players set to answer a questionnaire to obtain feedback.
There’s not much info on the game itself besides it being an RPG. MRS. GREEN APPLE’s song for the game is available in the UNITY album that is already available for purchase and / or streaming. The game’s official website has a character page, which only currently introduces Shinra Kusakabe, the main character. There’s no indicated release window for the game either, presumably either very late this year or sometime 2023.
