Honkai Impact 3 updated with new character – Himeko and Xuanyuan chapter

Launched on 1st November, Honkai Impact 3 by miHoYo has been gaining popularity with its gorgeous graphics and console-quality action gameplay. The game has recently updated with a few new content which includes the all-new “Xuanyuan” extra chapter and a new character – Himeko.

In the newly added Xuanyuan Chapter, our main protagonist – Kiana will be heading towards the spot where Emperor of Xuanyuan and Chiyou fought their decisive battle – the Cave of Nine Realms to gather intelligence regarding the Xuanyuan sword and stigmata.

There will be 2 new game modes introduced in the new chapter – “exploration stages” and “multi-line stages.” New key game elements – “infiltration” and “search” which let you explore a stage freely and solving puzzles are featured too. Also, there will be some new enemies such as Sharpclaw Zombies and Silent Ghost Zombies welcoming fellow players in the new stages.

While the new character, Himeko is a capable warrior with 2 types of battlesuits available (for now). The Scarlet Fusion battlesuit uses nuclear fusion to deal lightning damage and paralyzing nearby enemies, then unleashing large amounts of damage. On the other side, the Battle Storm battlesuit stores energy up to 3 levels for massive damage to the enemy and upon activating her ultimate, Himeko swings her sword like a hurricane.

Besides, Himeko‘s battlesuits are added to the Expansion Supply Crates. S-Rank Blood Rose, A-Rank Scarlet Fusion and Valkyrie Triumph are all having higher drop rates now so grab them while you can!
