HoYo FEST 2022 announced for Southeast Asia [UPDATE]

HoYo FEST 2022 has been announced for SEA, from the Indonesian Facebook page for Genshin Impact. There will be events planned for Singapore, Malaysia, the Philippines, Indonesia, Vietnam and Thailand. Details for this leg of the event will be announced sometime 21 September 2022, which at the very least will be themed collaboration cafes.

Genshin Impact Indonesia

Last year, there were cafes for Honkai Impact 3rd, Tears of Themis and Genshin Impact held at myBurgerLab, where people could eat themed burgers, take photos of the decorated venue and attempt to obtain merchandise.

Going by this year’s key visual, it would seem that fans can expect things related to Honkai Star Rail, Honkai Impact 3rd, Tears of Themis and Genshin Impact, with Zenless Zone Zero not represented. One does wonder if this means more Star Rail related news would be coming soon, but that’s mere speculation. Merchandise is the least that you would probably be able to expect.

In any case, stay tuned for the details, and hope to not have too many technical issues again!

UPDATE, 21 SEPTEMBER 2022: Details are now available for the Genshin Impact leg of themed cafes, with Honkai Impact 3rd and Tears of Themis to follow. This time, Travelers can make their reservations from 22 September 2022, 10:00 GMT +8 to 27 September 2022, 22:00 GMT +8 for their spot at La Juiceria Superfoods at Nadi Bangsar. Two sets will be available:

There will be a social media event on 28 September. On-site activities will include a scratch card for random prizes, a TikTok challenge, and mystery gifts for successful reservations. The Genshin Impact cafe itself will run from 28 September to 9 October 2022.
