Black Stella: Inferno has announced its end of service, barely 3 months since it launched in Japan. The revival of the project didn’t go as planned, to say the least: it was originally canned in September 2020 when it was under Fuji Games, before Cyberstep and ScopeNext decided to salvage it.
According to the end of service notice, Black Stella: Inferno will completely shutter on 12 September 2022. Effective immediately, there will no longer be any in-app purchases. Any follow up enquiries will be entertained until 14 October 2022, should you have made any purchases and would like to request refunds. You will need to fill up a form with the necessary information for them to process your request.
The game’s first, and only, dev letter apologized for the poor launch, and made the usual assurances that feedback and comments were being looked into as they worked to improve the stability of the game and its various functions.
The game is having event missions where you can obtain upgrade materials and a 5-star guaranteed ticket. You can check the official Twitter to see if there’ll be more last hurrah goodies to come.
