SNK has announced at EVO 2022 that their fighting games King of Fighters XV is getting crossplay and Samurai Shodown (2019) will also be getting rollback Netcode.
Crossplay for King of Fighters XV will be launched in 2023 for PS5, PS4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Rollback netcode for Samsho will likewise launch in the Spring of 2023.
SNK says they will be teaming up with Code Mystics to update Samurai Shodown with rollback. This will be based on the existing KOFVX solution using GGPO.
Additionally, King of Fighters XV also announced its latest DLC team: Team Awakened Orochi featuring Orochi Yashiro, Orochi Shermie, and Orochi Chris will be launching next week on August 8th. You can watch the latest trailer for the team below:

It has also been confirmed that the second season of DLC will be coming to King of Fighters XV in 2023. Additional details about the new season will be revealed this Sunday.
