[ Guide ] Digimon Survive Recruitment Answers

In this guide, we’ll look at all the answers necessary to successfully recruit enemy or wild (free) Digimon in Digimon Survive. This guide will also highlight which Digimon gives Enlightenment Slabs, the item necessary for Evolution in Digimon Survive, when asked for after enough right answers.

How to Talk to Enemy Digimon

In Free Battles and fights that you start from interacting with Shadows via Takuma’s phone, you can use the “Talk” button to initiate conversations with enemy Digimon. Doing so results in a bar that appears on the top half of the screen, divided into 6 sections.

The Digimon will then ask you 3 questions. For each answer you give, the bar may grow or shrink. After the 3rd question is answered, if the bar is at 3 sections or more, you can then make 1 of 2 requests to the Digimon, either asking it to join you, or give you an item. Otherwise, the Digimon will get upset, have an increase in stats and will be unable to be talked to for the rest of the battle.

Note that asking a Digimon to join you has a chance of failing. Said Digimon has a higher chance of joining you if your alignment matches their type. The alignments correspond to Digimon types as such:

• Moral – Vaccine
• Harmonious – Data
• Wrathfulness – Virus

In addition, the higher the Evolution stage of the Digimon, the lower the odds of recruiting it.

Also, whereas all the Best Answers listed below provide a +2 increase to the bar, some of the answers for Mega Digimon may only give +1. Considering the low odds of recruiting a Mega Digimon, we recommend asking for Evolution items from the Mega Digimon that give them instead, as Digimon always give items when asked for them, without fail.
