One Piece Pirate Warriors 4 has sold over Two Million Copies Worldwide

Bandai Namco Entertainment Asia has just announced that One Piece Pirate Warriors 4, including digital downloads, has sold over Two Million copies worldwide, making it fastest title in the series to do so.

About One Piece Pirate Warriors

A collaboration between the successful “Warriors” series of video games and the One Piece franchise, this popular series of games has now sold over seven million copies globally since the release of the first title in 2012. The series offers fans the chance to relive famous scenes from the One Piece canon and experience the games’ own brand new, original storylines – making it a beloved series for a decade. In terms of gameplay, the series is renowned for its simple controls and the exhilarating satisfaction of cutting down multiple enemies in a single stroke.

For this title, the development team, Koei Tecmo Games’ Omega Force, has placed particular focus on the recreation of a “realistic One Piece battlefield experience” – faithfully depicting the finest details of buildings destroyed in action, and the fine sand and dust particles produced.

The inclusion of other gameplay elements new to the One Piece Pirate Warriors series also serves to make this title more thrilling and satisfying than any before.
