Arcueid, main character of the Tsukihime visual novel series is finally making her FGO debut as a 5-star servant in the featured banner for the Fate/Grand Order 7th Anniversary.
Announced at a livestream to much excitement, Arcueid will appear in FGO as a Moon Cancer-class servant, under the name Archetype: Earth.
The character will have her own cinematic Noble Phantasm, titled Marble Phantasm, which does bonus damage to Chaotic-aligned enemies.
In addition, each of her different Ascension Stages are based on different aspects of the character, with Ascension 2 specifically taking place after the events of a route from Tsukihime, according to the wiki.
She’ll be available via the game’s anniversary banner which runs from July 31st to August 10th, and even sports her own unique summoning animation similar to the previous Moon Cancer, Sesshoin Kiara.
Her inclusion in FGO is part of a two-way crossover with the Type Moon’s other visual novel series, Tsukihime: while Arcueid appears in Grand Order, Mash Kyrielight is set to appear in the Tsukihime fighting game Melty Blood as upcoming DLC.
This crossover isn’t entirely uncommon- the original Carnival Phantasm featured characters from both series, and Neco Arc, originally a Tsukihime character has gone on to get Fate-inspired versions as well.
