Jennifer Poulson has left Riot Games, starting a new position with blockchain game publisher and platform holder Immutable.
She starts her new position as Vice President of Portfolio Games this week, following over 3 years with the League of Legends developer as their head of publishing partnerships for the APAC region.
While her work with immutable is still largely under wraps, she’s declared her commitment to making web3 games with the studio.
“Joining the visionary team at Immutable to power the next generation of Web3 games is a unique opportunity to provide players with true digital ownership”, she says in a statement provided to us. “I’m looking forward to partnering with developers to launch world-class blockchain games on our protocol”.
Immutable consists of two major parts, namely the Immutable X platform for trading and minting NFTs as well as Immutable Studios, which develops games for that protocol.
The company had also previously hired Justin Hulog- another ex-Riot name to join their team.
Prior to her job at riot, Jennifer Poulson was also Senior Vice President of marketing for Asia at Bandai Namco Entertainment.
At both her previous titles, she excelled at forging partnerships in the APAC region, though she hasn’t mentioned any particular regional focus at her new position with Immutable.
