Grimlight teases Q3 roadmap, upcoming improvements

Ever since its pivot back into open beta, the Grimlight development team has been hard at work providing updates, including a sneak peek of the Q3 roadmap and improvements in response to feedback.

Following open beta, the game will enter a soft launch state and begin adding new content. Plans for future updates can be summarized as follows:

• New Heroes
  • 5-star
    • Nature Briar Rose: Guardian that can debuff enemy movement and attack speed, and reflects damage

• • Future Heroes, subject to change
    • Light Van Helsing, Dark Evil Queen, Dark Kang Rim, Thumbelina, two Mystery Heroes

• New Story Update
  • Chapter 8: Betrayal, level 60+
• New Event
  • Rose Garden: Uses Memory Compass to navigate event. Rewards include hero fragments
• Hero Updates
  • More Awakening skins for Briar Rose, Snow Queen, Ginger, and more
• Improvements
  • Plans for at least One Memory Shard daily
  • Possibility of Fateful Shards and Keys from missions
  • Adjustments to difficult missions
  • More Key acquiring methods
  • Info on acquiring hero fragments, utilizing unused hero fragments to come

As previously mentioned, the game also has a refund policy following the disastrous initial launch. This is a one-time only process. All refunds and account resets are planned for 21 July 2022 as per the latest update.

According to the roadmap, Briar Rose will be arriving to Grimlight “later this month”, but at time of writing, the soft launch date has not been announced on the official Discord.
