Hololive EN’s Tsukumo Sana has announced her graduation, ending her career as part of Hololive’s group of English-speaking Vtubers.
Following her own on-stream announcement, Cover Corp also released their own press statement, clarifying that the graduation was Sana’s own decision
“We had discussed several times with Tsukumo Sana regarding the direction of her activities, however, as time went on, it became difficult for her to continue her VTuber activities”, the statement reads.
“After much deliberation between both parties, with the deepest regrets, we have decided to honor her request for graduation”.
While her final stream will be held on July 31st, the Tsukumo Sana channel will continue to be up until October 31st, along with any membership benefits.
Unlike fellow graduand Kiryu Coco, Sana’s stint as a Vtuber was relatively drama-free, with the main blotch on her career being a back injury that had put her out of action for a brief period.
Most recently, she had co-hosted a Tanabata stream with felllow HoloEN member Ninomae Ina’Nis, reading wishes from fans in conjunction with the summer event.
On reddit, people have left comments showing their appreciation for the Vtuber, who was best known for incredibly comfy streams and a quirky sense of humor.
“Sana always had the comfiest streams. I’ll miss her so much. I wish you nothing but happiness, galaxy girl”, writes one redditor, dairyqueen79.
“We’ll miss you bread goddess”, writes 00bsdude.
Tsukumo Sana was a member of HoloCouncil, the second generation of Hololive English.
Back during the group’s debut, she even did the key art for the unit, featuring all the council members.
