The Nintendo Direct Mini revealed that the Mega Man Battle Network Legacy Collection will be coming to Nintendo Switch, PS4, and PC.
This will include all 10 games in the Mega Man Battle Network series that were originally released for the Gameboy Advance in the early to mid-2000s.
Here is the newly released trailer for the collection which was uploaded to Capcom’s Youtube Channel:
“Mega Man Battle Network Legacy Collection brings ten Battle Network adventures to modern platforms! Using a unique battle system that fuses action and card-game-like mechanics, join Lan and MegaMan.EXE as they work together to stop evil forces that threaten Net Society! Unleash powerful Battle Chips in combat and forge new bonds to take on unique new traits, then unleash your power in combat to delete viruses.”
The ten games that are included in the collection are:
- Mega Man Battle Network
- Mega Man Battle Network 2
- Mega Man Battle Network 3: Blue
- Mega Man Battle Network 3: White
- Mega Man Battle Network 4: Blue Moon
- Mega Man Battle Network 4: Red Sun
- Mega Man Battle Network 5: Team Colonel
- Mega Man Battle Network 5: Team Protoman
- Mega Man Battle Network 6: Cybeast Gregar
- Mega Man Battle Network 6: Cybeast Falzar
As you can see there are technically only six games as Battle Network 5 and 6 have two versions, similar to what Gamefreak does with the Pokemon series.
The collection will be released in 2023 and will be sold as a single volume physically and two volumes digitally similar to previously-released Mega Man Legacy Collections.
An art gallery featuring over 1000 pieces of concept art and a music mode with over 180 tracks will also be included in the collection.
