Razer has announced the Ornata V3, a new entry-level low-profile gaming ergonomic keyboard with Razer Mecha-membrane Switches.
New features of the keyboard include a smaller footprint and slimline keycap design at an accessible price point of $69.99/RM310.
The Ornata V3 is equipped with Razer Mecha-membrane Switches. These switches provide a soft cushioned touch and oh-so-satisfying tactility clicks that make everything from gaming sessions to writing your economic thesis even more comfortable.
The ABS keycaps of the keyboard have been UV-coated to improve fade and scratch resistance. It’s also rounded off with Razer Chroma RGB with 10 lighting zones, backlit dedicated media keys, and an ergonomic magnetic soft-touch wrist rest for long hours of play. These are features that are not often found in this price range.
It was also announced that a more compact yet full-size version of the keyboard called the Ornata V3 X will also be available. This version has a low-profile form factor with durable UV-coated ABS keycaps and a spill-resistant design, protecting it from your morning coffee.
This version features silent membrane switches, Razer Chroma RGB with 1-zone lighting, and detachable wrist rest. If you’re looking for a more portable keyboard that will prevent you from getting carpal tunnel, this could be one to consider.
You can order the Ornata V3 at Razer’s online store or buy it from one of their retail partners. For more on Razer’s keyboards, check out our review of the Ornata V2.
