Playstation users have woken up to discover Tekken 2 and other Playstation 1 classics priced far more than they probably should be on the PlayStation Store, with the fighting game being listed for $9,999.00 USD.
I suppose those King of Iron Fist Tournaments don’t pay for themselves.
Various Twitter users have posted photos of their Playstation store findings:

It’s not just Tekken either. The Playstation classic version of Mr. Driller has also skyrocketed in price. Perhaps climate change is making those oxygen tanks more costly.
So the new PS Plus games are popping up as Iām searching the PSN store and Tekken 2 and Mr. Driller are $9,999.00 each. pic.twitter.com/JWOgIAQqXi

We took a look and the PlayStation Store ourselves and found that the price of Tekken 2 was back to normal meaning that the issue has likely been fixed.
It’s good that PlayStation managed to resolve the issue before more people found out and even potentially attempted to buy the games. Tekken 2 may be a good game but I doubt most people think it’s sell-a-kidney levels of good.
Both Tekken 2 and Mr. Driller are available as part of the higher Playstation Plus subscription tiers.
