Season 2 of Chocobo GP has begun, bringing new content to the kart racing experience in the Chocobo universe on the Nintendo Switch.
Seasonal events, lasting roughly two months, will have players earn prize scores during the season to level up their prize level, with rewards obtainable at its corresponding level. Chocobo GP Season 2 will see Chip from Chocobo Mystery Dungeon and Kwackeys from Final Fantasy Fables: Chocobo’s Dungeon will join the race and will be available as a prize level reward for those with the Prize Pass.
The Ticket Shop line-up has been renewed, with prize reward items for Prize Pass holders also available, though items such as Mythril, Gil and Team Stickers are excluded. Items can be obtained from the following seasons. Season characters and machines purchased from the store will be available for offline play.
Additionally, Balamb Garden is a new course available on Multiplayer, Time Attack, and Custom Race mode. If you have the Lite version, you can participate in the Online Multiplayer from the Ver.1.1.0 update and join lobbies created by players who own the full game, so you can check the track out for yourself.
