During State of Play 2022, Capcom revealed a trailer for Resident Evil 4 Remake and also announced a March 24, 2023 release date for the game. Currently, it is announced only for PS5.
Have a look at the trailer for the game below:
The game will let players relive the events of Resident Evil 4 by immersing them with the RE Engine used in Resident Evil 7 and Resident Evil Village. While the trailer did not show how the UI or aiming works, it did show glimpses of many iconic moments from the game, such as the boat ride on the lake, Ashley and even Salazar.
PlayStation VR2 support will also be coming for Resident Evil 4 Remake in the future. Considering the fact that Resident Evil 4 VR won the best VR game during The Game Awards 2021, it shouldn’t be a surprise. There is no footage or other information for the VR version of the game, at the moment. Besides Resident Evil 4, Resident Evil Village will also be getting VR support, which is great news for Lady Dimitrescu fans.
While waiting for the March 24, 2023 release date of Resident Evil 4 Remake, be sure to stay tuned to all things Resident Evil by following the series’ official Twitter account.
