A Twitch account has been created with a sole purpose in mind- to stream the living meme, Morbius to the masses, on loop.
As of this writing, over 9000 people are tuned into the movie- which even comes equipped with closed captioning to make sure even the hard of hearing can properly experience Sony’s latest anti-hero.
For added comedy, the stream is currently listed as an Artifact stream.
It should be noted that as of right now, it stands to reason this isn’t Sony Pictures’ latest campaign to get people interested in Morbius and might, in fact, just be good ol’ copyright infringement that Twitch has decided not to get around to.
Naturally, the chat is exactly as you’d expect from a Morbius Stream, as words whizz by making references to the multitude of Morbius memes including the use of “Morb” as a verb.
Morbius has ascended to infamy, entirely thanks to its meme status in the greater internet community.
Fans repeatedly talk about the #MorbiusSweep, the entirely fictional event of the movie dominating the box office at its release- as well as inventing a catchphrase for Jared Leto, where he supposedly says “It’s Morbin’ Time!”.
Unfortunately reports from disappointed fans who’ve seen it indicate that it’s not, in fact, in the movie.
The movie’s reputation has even extended to Vtuber spaces, due to a particularly awkward interaction between Jared “Morbius” Leto and Hololive’s Shirakami Fubuki.

It’s not like streaming a movie is inherently alien to Twitch- the entirety of Bob Ross’ The Joy Of Painting was famously and legally streamed on Twitch, sparking renewed interest in the chill painting series.
