Warau Ars Notoria will be getting an anime adaptation

Warau Ars Notoria has announced an anime adaptation which will begin airing in July 2022. You can watch the trailer below:

It has an officially localized English subtitle in “Smile of the Arsnotoria”, with the first episode set to air 6 July 2022. As mentioned, this anime is an adaptation, namely of a mobile game of the same name, Warau Ars Notoria, developed by Nitroplus and published by Good Smile Company. The story can be roughly summarized as follows:

“You” have lost most of your memories and somehow manage to arrive at a secret academy impossible for normal people to see. There, girls known as “Pentagrams” socialize and study to become “proper ladies.” Bestowed with the role of “teacher,” you will spend busy days wrapped around these adolescent girls’ fingers.

The animation will be done by Liden Films with music from Pony Canyon. Besides the anime, there will also be a manga and novelization. The manga, published in Monthly Dragon Age starting July, will follow the story of the anime. The novelization, meanwhile, will be published in Famitsu Bunko, a spin-off story focusing on an anime-original character.
