Rune Factory 5 may be getting a PC release via Steam based on a SteamDB listing for the game. You can visit its SteamDB page to check it out.
Rune Factory 5 was first listed on SteamDB on 20 May 2022, which also happens to be exactly one year since the game’s Japanese release date—20 May 2021. The SteamDB entry suggests that the game will be getting a 13 July 2022 release date. Note that this is not an official confirmation. XSEED Games and Marvelous Inc have not made any announcements regarding a Rune Factory 5 PC release at the time of writing.
Considering that Rune Factory 4 Special made a similar move to Steam on 8 December last year, odds are, it is extremely likely that Rune Factory 5 will also be getting a similar treatment. Rune Factory 5 was released back in March earlier this year in Europe and North America.
We gave the game a score of 8/10 in our review, which you can read here. One of the gripes we faced in this amazing game is the frame rate issue. A PC release of the game will hopefully mean a smoother experience.
