An insider has revealed more details about the long-rumored potential Silent Hill revival, stating that there are multiple games in the works, one of which is a remake of ‘Best Video Games of all time’ contender Silent Hill 2.
The rumor was revealed by known industry insider NateTheHate, which was later corroborated by Jeff Grub.
They say that their sources indicate that Konami is working with Bloober Team on a Silent Hill 2 Remake as well as a new mainline title and “side stories”.
This is the stuff I’ve heard, and it comes from multiple different sources. Not all of my sources are primary, but everything is mostly lining up. To me, the biggest indicator is the stuff I’ve seen lines up with Konami doing a big reveal at E3 last year before it pulled out. https://t.co/GzUb3jzrwX

According to NateTheHate, the Silent Hill 2 Remake will be a Playstation exclusive developed by Polish developer Bloober Team. The studio is most well known for their Silent Hill-inspired horror game, ‘The Medium’. The soundtrack for The Medium was even recorded by famed Silent Hill composer Akira Yamaoka.
Rumors regarding Bloober Team working on Silent Hill have been circulating for the last couple of years since the studio confirmed they were partnering with Konami on a new project.
In 2021 a number of projects were leaked from Bloober Team, with fans speculating that one of them could be a new Silent Hill game. Bloober Team however said that these projects were shelved but they never confirmed that they weren’t making a Silent Hill game.
There is less information on the other potential titles however there have been previous rumors that multiple Silent Hill projects, as well as Castlevania and Metal Gear revivals, were in development at Konami. At least one of the Silent Hill titles is being developed by a prominent Japanese developer.
