Stray Blade featured in 505 Games Showcase, closed beta signups available

Additional details for Stray Blade, an upcoming action RPG, were revealed earlier today during 505 Games Spring 2022 Showcase. The game will be releasing sometime in 2023 on PC via Steam and Epic Games Store, as well as PS5 and Xbox Series X | S.

Players assume the role of a knight-looking anthropologist who goes on a journey to Acrea the Lost Valley alongside their trusty Xhinnon wolf companion Boji who will aid the player in various unique ways throughout the game.

During the showcase, one of the highlights of the game was how death plays into the gameplay. The world constantly changes, and when players die, time still progresses. They may find that environments that they have visited in the past have changed, with new enemies or points of interest.

Combat in the game is fast-paced and challenging, but will still be accessible for new players or those who are unfamiliar with the ARPG genre. The game also features in-depth skill trees for Boji and mastering different weapons.
