HoYoverse releases Zenless Zone Zero teaser

A teaser has been released for Zenless Zone Zero, an upcoming project from miHoYo / HoYoverse. It would appear that more information would be coming 13 May 2022, so for now, all we have to go by is the name, the announcement, and the website. It might be safe to assume this will be some worldwide simultaneous release.

The Zenless Zone Zero Twitter teaser is here, linking to the countdown website here. You can tweak the knobs on the television on the countdown website, mentioning the sub-Hollow disaster and officials evacuating the people in the area. The VCR player also has a tab for Chinese voiceover, with various other details like the calendar, some posters and books with other tapes, with one of the more visible posters looking like some Evangelion reference. Loading into the website has a Bangboo Net header, and the clock on the TV is moving backwards.

We should be able to assume it’s a game title with under the now ubiquitous Cognosphere umbrella, presumably for mobile and any console where relevant. With Honkai Star Rail, Honkai Impact 3rd, Genshin Impact, and Tears of Themis, that’s quite a number of titles that they intend to service.
