Wild Born to launch in Korea this May

Wild Born will launch in South Korea in the coming week of May. This is a Monster Hunter-like from from ROCKSQUARE and Smilegate subsidiary, Smilegate STOVE. No new trailer has been released on their Youtube channel at time of writing, so check out the original one from 10 March 2022 first:

Pre-registrations remain open for Wild Born until 9 May, with the launch set for 10 May. A variety of resources and SR character are obtainable for hitting the user milestones. You are required to provide a valid Korean phone number if you’re going to pre-register through the official website.

This is a mobile take on the monster hunting genre, allowing up to 4 players to co-op together to hunt creatures across a variety of biomes. Features include choosing from seven weapon types, and complementing your gameplay with a companion character who can assist you in combat or gather things for you. There is also some aspect of “role share” and idle gameplay.

See also, Hunter World, a similarly styled game that is set to launch in Korea sometime in the future. For this one at least, it appears to have launched launched in Southeast Asia, known instead as Dragon Hunters: Heroes Legend under TTHmobi for those curious enough.
