Magic: The Gathering Streets of New Capenna features Malaysian Fei Giap

Fei Giap, Co-Founder and Creative Director of Loka Made, has designed 2 out of 6 of the limited edition, single print run Treasure Tokens arriving with the latest Magic: The Gathering set. He’s best known for creating evocative sceneries of Malaysia through digital art.

Streets of New Capenna will be releasing 29 April 2022, which, for the first time, will enable players in selected Southeast Asian countries – including Malaysia – to own exclusive Family Treasure Tokens depicting New Capenna’s five crime bosses, and Halo, a magical substance central to the set’s story arc. All art is illustrated by artists from SEA.

Besides the Treasure Tokens, the set features 10 full art “Metropolis” basic lands, and two showcase treatments in the “Skyscraper” and the “Golden Age”, exhibiting the vibrant locations and unique cards of New Capenna with all the glitz it deserves.
