As it turns out, the PUBG New State collaboration with Among Us is not a mere April Fool’s joke. The official Twitter account has announced the collaboration to be arriving with the April update without disclosing further details.
According to the 4gamer release, PUBG New State players will be able to participate in a mini game with the Among Us “theme” starting 21 April 2022 to 19 May 2022. The mini game will be available on Troi as a squad, with a member designated as the Imposter. The rest of the squad members will then have to figure out who the Imposter is before they get taken out. The Imposter will be able to use weapons to kill the rest off.
Collaboration skins, items and objects will be found across the game. Collaboration themed crates, and as such, in-game items, will be available, including masks, coats, innerwear, backpacks, weapons, vehicles and more. Rewards including frames, titles and icons are likewise obtainable. You’ll be able to complete missions as you play to earn whatever rewards are up for grabs.
The official English Twitter nor website has explicitly confirmed the start dates, but it should be more or less the same. Definitely stay tuned for the details and go some rounds with the community.
