Yggdra Resonance has announced its Japanese release date, with pre-registrations also remain ongoing until then. Previously only giving a Spring 2022 release window, the actual date to look out for Yggdra Resonance is 21 April 2022.
There are pre-registration milestone rewards up to 300,000, having achieved 150,000 as of the most recent update. This will get players the 2-star unit, “Maribelle”, with a bunch more premium currency left to go to try for.
As for the game itself, you can look forward to a rather unique and interesting synchronisation mechanic which will factor in real world time and weather to portray the in-game world of Midgard. How this will impact gameplay was not disclosed however. Plot-wise, players will experience a tale revolving around girls with special abilities, though the primary focus will be that on one Norne, who will be accompanying the player throughout the journey.
The official channel will be releasing a “report” following the results of the questionnaire post the game’s closed beta test that concluded in late January 2022. From the previews, it appears to work similarly to Princess Connect, with the added twist of the synchronisation mechanics that may influence how the skills work or even the battlefield. It’ll be curious to find out if it syncs with JST or your system time when it goes live.
