The Netflix live-action adaptation of One Piece has revealed several new set photos, including a recent photo of the Iconic ship, the Going Merry.
Alongside the Star Hat Pirates’ ship are more pictures of the set, as well as other images recreated from the manga including the Baratie, Roger Town, Roger’s Guillotine, and more. One notable differents with the live-action One Piece Going Merry is that its mouth is open.
Fans have already started comparing the images of the live-action with scenes from the manga, and from what can be seen, while it’s obvious the live-action sets have not been finished, they don’t seem too far off.
The first season of Netflix’s One Piece will consist of 10 episodes, produced by Tomorrow Studios and Shueisha, with the original mangaka Eiichiro Oda as an executive producer and participating in the casting.
Netflix has already announced the casting of several major and minor characters for the series. What do you think so far, are you excited for the live-action One Piece.
The One Piece live-action series has yet to receive a release date. From the looks of the images, the show may still be early in production. We will likely see more information about it later in the year.
