Time to go look up the lyrics to your favourite anime songs as Nippon Cultural Broadcasting will be airing ANIME SONGS PARTY! This show will start broadcasting on Sunday, April 3rd from 8.30 pm to 8.45 pm JST and will air at this time slot every Sunday. This program aims to connect anime fans around the world by taking part in singing anime cover songs.
All anime fans are invited to share their own covers via YouTube and TikTok. Covers uploaded with the hashtag #ANIMESONGSPARTY will be played on the program. In addition, the ANIME SONGS PARTY! YouTube channel will upload karaoke versions of anime songs through YouTube and YouTube Shorts for viewers to cover.
The show will be hosted by Yohei Onishi and Singing Cosplayer Hikari. The former is a singer with many Tokusatsu opening theme songs under his belt, while the later is a prolific cover singer, with her cover of Hatsune Miku’s ‘Yume To Hazakura’ ranking no. 1 in various J-POP charts in 14 countries.

In addition, the program will also welcome guests such as anime singers, actors, actresses, comedians and YouTubers, as well as anyone who wants to join and sing cover songs from all over the world. The first guest for the program airing on Sunday the 3rd of April is Hironobu Kageyama.
His songs from his latest original album, ‘Hangeki no Ouchi Rock’, released on 18 March 2022, will be played during this program. He will also play some of his favourite anime songs.
