Arena of Valor – Garena’s First MOBA On Mobile!

If you’re living in South East Asia, you would probably know what Garena is all about. They are a gaming platform that offers one of the biggest and popular games of all time like League of Legends, FIFA Online and Heroes of Newerth. A new revelation is that they are launching a new game called Arena of Valor!

Some of you might know the game from one of our article back in August. The game is a smash hit in China and it goes by the name Honor of Kings (王者荣耀) and is being released into the US and Europe market. They have changed the name and localized it to fit into the Western market as Arena of Valor. Now Garena has publishing rights over Arena of Valor and they are releasing the mobile MOBA game in Malaysia, Singapore and Philippines!

Recently, they have even created an Arena of Valor Facebook page which you can check it out! Prior to their launch, they are also holding an event with goodies for players in Philippines, Malaysia and Singapore! All you need to do is head onto to their Facebook Page, like and share their video to stand a chance to win RM40 worth of in-game items! A total of 5 lucky winners will be chosen from the comments and will be announced when the game officially launches.

If you don’t know the game already, it is a 5vs5 MOBA game that lasts at least 15 minutes each round. Players will do battle over 3 lanes like many MOBA games (Dota2/ LoL/ HoN). As a MOBA on mobile, the game has simple controls with just 2 fingers which is standard like mobile ARPGs. Also if you guys didn’t already know, Tencent was given licences to DC Comic’s Superheroes! With that we will be seeing cool DC heroes like the Batman, Joker and Superman in Arena of Valor!
