Genshin Impact Divine Ingenuity Event Adds Custom Domains

Hoyoverse has given more information about the Divine Ingenuity event for Genshin Impact, which allows you to create your own custom domains to play with your friends.

The Divine Ingenuity event starts in Genshin Impact March 2nd, and will be split up into two categories- Preset Domains and Custom Domains.

Before you get into building your own obstacle courses, there’s some housekeeping to be done- your character will need to be Adventure Rank 28, having completed Archon Quest “Chapter I: Act III – A New Star Approaches”

You’ll need to complete all the Preset Domains in the Divine Ingenuity quest to unlock the Custom Domains, which require you to get from Point A to Point B within a time limit to get Adventure Coins.

Once you complete the quest, you’ll unlock the Custom Domains which you can share with your friends to have them complete your own trials. According to Hoyoverse, these will use the same construction method as the Serenitea and you’ll have a limit of 5 domains saved.

You’ll even be able to set custom victory criteria, be it getting from A to B or collecting all adventure coins, or even setting a time limit to really put the heat on your friends.

Like many build-a-level experiences though, you’ll need to prove the level is actually beatable before publishing it- so brush up your Parkour if you want to show the world your creation in this event.
