Kriegsfront Tactics is a Front Mission-inspired game from Coffee Talk dev

From brewing coffee to busting mechs, Toge Productions, the studio behind Cofee Talk, is working on their next title, Kriegsfront Tactics. This Front Mission-inspired tactical RPG will be coming soon to PS4, Xbox One, Switch and PC via Steam. Check out the game’s trailer below:

Featuring procedurally generated missions, the game combines elements from classic tactical strategy games, roguelikes, and lowpoly retro-style visuals. Set in an alternate 1970s during an era of conflict in Southeast Asia, players of Kriegsfront Tactics will get to play as a commander of a mecha squad that’s been sent behind enemy lines. Players must manage their squads, resources, and mechs in order to complete their mission and survive another day. They will also be challenged to make hard decisions that will test their morality.

While a fixed release date for the game has yet to be announced, Toge Productions will be releasing Kriegsfront Battlescaper – Diorama Editor, a free digital toy where players can create mechs and battlefield dioramas using built-in photo mode, mecha builder, and level editor that are based on the developer tools for the game. A demo of the game will be available during Steam Next Fest starting from the 21st to the 28th of February 2022.
