PS5 Controller and Covers Unboxing – Galactic Colors

Tired of the white controller and cover for your Playstation 5, well Sony has released a whole myriad of colors for PS5 dualsense wireless controllers and covers to style the console to your liking.

We managed to get our hands on a few of them, so here’s an unboxing of the new PS5 controller and covers.

The PS5 Dualsense Controllers Colors

We were shipped four new Playstation 5 dualsense wireless controllers. The new colors are labeled Nova Pink, Starlight Blue, and Galactic Purple. These are all recently released models, having only been launched this January 2022.

In terms of functionality, they work more or less just like the original PS5 controller, from buttons to analog stick to haptic feedback. If you can play Demon Souls in the original white PS5, you can play it on any of these.

The PS5 Console Covers

We got the console covers in two colors, Cosmic Red and Midnight Black. To use these covers, just carefully snap the white covers of your PS5 and hook these on in their place.

The Midnight Black covers in particular really make the PS5 look a lot like the previous Playstation consoles, the PS2, 3, and 4. I suppose if you’re something of a PlayStation traditionalist, midnight black would be a good one to watch out for.
