Fans are reacting well to the new outfit for the character Rosaria, which follows various character outfits being redesigned to better comply with Chinese censorship laws.
The Genshin Impact Twitter celebrated the miserable nun’s birthday today, along with their customary illustration. The catch this time, however, was that Rosaria had ditched her old habit in favor of a new outfit- weeks before it would come to Genshin Impact.
Rather than be full of cries of censorship, though, fans seem to really prefer the outfit, despite it being less blatantly sexualized than the old one.
“This is actually better than her original design stay mad dudebros“, writes user zvezdacito.
Rosaria in particular has been the target of various redesigns, from several cup size adjustments to even a new weapon pose, on top of the new outfit. Some fans have even commented that while the birthday art is very clearly Rosaria’s new outfit, the proportions weren’t./
“Rosaria new skin doesn’t look so bad than i expected, atleast her boobs are still big in official art“, writes NE0ZBOY.
Of course, many people are just simply in love with Rosaria as a character, regardless of whether or not she’s wearing fishnets or not. These users also showed up in the quote retweets for her birthday post, letting everyone know their tastes.
“The only person who could step on me and I’d be blessed“, writes Willow Evans.
It’s nice to see fans receive the changes well, especially when censorship has become such a hot topic in circles. Outside of China, fans have the choice of using either the new outfits or the original ones various characters already launched with.
