Grab your champagne, millennium balls and Great Gatsby memes, because this week The Brave Room is looking at some of our favorite news stories from the year of our Genshin 2021.
Of course, like any problem it starts with realizing that 2021 was way longer than we thought- things like the Suez Canal incident seem so far away, but in truth they were actually within the scope of this year.
Thankfully, Wan and Kit manage to hold off on collapsing into dust to actually talk about big news stories from throughout the year, such as Wan’s soon to be favorite recurring segment titled “What the hell is going on in China“, as well as the upwards trajectory that the small indie game Genshin Impact has made in its first full year of being on the market.
Of course, we couldn’t close the year out without a Wan rant, as he talks about how 2021 was a great year for fighting games, as well as sheds a little light on the mystery of netcode and how it somehow makes your games sell better even if they came out almost a decade ago.
Finally, our two adventurers also close off on the future of The Brave Room. Some big changes are coming to your favorite gaming podcast, so make sure to stay through all the insane rants and side-tangents to hear all about that.
The Brave Room is GamerBraves own podcast, hosted by “Wan” Amirul and Kit “Bernie’s Mittens” Chew. It’s available on Anchor, YouTube and Spotify.
