Deemo 2 gets release date in January 2022

After initially expecting a 2021 launch, Deemo 2 now has an official release date set on 13 January 2022. The game will be free to play, allowing everyone to join Echo on her journey to explore this eternally rainy land. It seems that interacting with the 50 or so NPCs along the way will be key to progressing the story.

Pre-registrations for Deemo 2 have been open for quite a while even without this release date announcement, having exceeded over 800,000 sign ups. You can check out the campaign here, where you have a chance to win an iPhone 13. The page will take you through a little personality test to find your “Soul Song”, where it will recommend you a song, and a write up to follow.

The official Youtube page has been releasing song previews as well, for you to look forward to testing out those fingers. With how the original Deemo is available on other platforms as a paid game, it’s likely Deemo 2 will follow suit sometime in the future when its repertoire is further expanded.
