The Good Smile Company has announced two new bunny girl scale figures based on the characters Karin Kakudate and Asuna Ichinose from the popular mobile game Blue Archive. They are referred to as ‘POPQN Versions’.
We haven’t seen models of the figures yet but Good Smile Company has posted the artwork that the figures are inspired by on their Twitter:
The two are depicted in bunny girl outfits, seemingly playing a card game (that kind of looks like Uno) at a casino. The costumes are based on the Bunny girl alternate costumes that players can pull for them in Blue Archive.
The figures are still early in production so they don’t have a price or release period. They haven’t even said what size they’ll be, although I doubt that’d be as expensive as say, the Freeing bunny girl figure line considering how big and detailed those figures are.
Within the story of Blue Archive, Karin and Asuna are members of ‘Cleaning and Clearing’ a school club at Millenium Science School. While they appear to be a maid club, they are in reality a special force squad that is tasked with removing any potential threats to the school.
The Karin and Asuna bunny girl figures are based on an illustration drawn for Blue Archive by the artist POPQN (hence the name).
Blue Archive is available for iOS and Android devices.
